在网络通信环境中路由机、交换机和计算机是典型的网络体系结构不可或缺的设备。随着网络技术持续开发，设备的复杂性增加，而且麻烦的参数把设备的设置变得越来越混淆。因此人们迫切期望网络设备，能有革命性的突破。整合化的功能和符合人性化的操作，将是在下一个网络世代的主流。JetBox 9300是融合了路由机、交换机和计算机等功能，成为一个微小箱子的通信路由机。提供极简易的操作方式，是JetBox 9300设计的核心精神。芯惠通不仅提供API和人机界面，而且使得路由机、交换机和计算机的设置能够达到简单化。 JetBox 9300是一台基于RISC的嵌入计算机，系统内建出厂值64MB SDRAM (128MB选购)，并且搭配主要的通信接口，例如5口以太网、 2口USB2 .0、2口RS-232、2口RS-32 /422 /485、4数字输入、4数字输出和一个SD卡片槽。除此之外，拥有内建Linux OS和主要的网络应用软件，使得JetBox 9300成为一个强有力的网络应用引擎。
